limp mode

Hey so i just finished puting a new turbo in my skyline and now it seems to be in limp mode and the car is blowing a lot of black smoke from the exhaust car was running good before the new turbo just needed a tune not sure why it would be in limp mode now any ideas can help going to try unhooking the maf when i get home and see if that helps other then that i cant think of anything else it could be

Also check all your couplings on your intake/intercooler piping and make sure one isn't undone.
