  • R32 RB25 S2 to Neo swap

I'm swapping my S1 to neo in my drift car. Can I use the Neo Coils pack on the S1 Ecu?(I will be running an R33 rb25 power fc)

Is there a way to do a wiring conversion(I have both R32 and Neo coil pack wiring)?

R34 NEO RB25DET should use a different CAS (Hitachi), so CAS plug pinout is different (some say you can swap a few wires around on CAS plug to make it work). R32, R33 have a Mitsubishi CAS (Mitsubishi logo on black part in middle of CAS).

Series 2 R33 RB25DET is when they switched the ignitors to the coilpacks (smaller ignition module on top of back of engine), so coilpacks could be shut off one at a time via ECU (via Consult) to check for faulty coilpacks. R34 NEO RB25DET used the same ignition setup as Series 2 R33 RB25DET (not sure if they switched the CAS to Hitachi, as R34 NEO RB25DET has solid lifters, cams , etc and R33 Series 2 RB25DET has hydraulic lifters, cams, etc).

i'm actualy swaping from S1 to Neo...my concern is more on the coilpack re-wiring(module delete)

A guy i know did it. He cut the igniter plug before the igniter and bring each signal wire to each coil pack.

        Cylinder 1 with wire 1
        Etc..

They are marked 1 to 6 on the igniter
