New car, need help, car runs rough+rich+misfire+wheel stud+grinding etc..........

    I met up with Alder yesterday to check out the car. We solved his richness after shifting under boost by adding the OEM recirc valve and running in tandem with his astomspheric HKS BOV. There are no mechanical issues with the motor. I found his TPS sensor was at 0.38 v closed and adjusted it up to 0.48. Tried to get his idle within spec but found that it would only drop to around 1100 rpm. I couldn't find any obvious vacuum leaks, so I suspect that this might be caused by overly advanced base timing. Hooked up the timing light but couldn't pick up an ignition signal, my light was not sensitive enough.... When I meet with him next I will check the ecu for codes, although I suspect that the issue is related to the MAF signal or TPS signal/wiring. I think whoever adjusted the tps down to 0.38 may have bent the idle contact pin which would contribute to the stalling issue. The car will fire up after 1 crank but then stall out unless kept alive with the pedal.

      Bump compression is good but now I am intermittently running on 5 cylinders and blowing a lot of greyish smoke after the test ..??? Injector maybe?
