  • r33 running rich, what needs to be looked at?

my 93 r33 gtst is running rich. just got new spark plugs put in two weeks ago but didnt make a huge difference. my car is only doing about 315km tops on a full tank. that being said only if im not going into +boost. i shift at 2500 and drive the car well. any suggestions?

Could be a number of things. Water temp sensor for ECU, fuel pressure regulator, O2 sensor.

Also vacuum leaks tend to result in an overly rich condition, easy to have one on the intercooler piping/injector seals/ pcv lines/ ect.

I couldnt see you getting much more then 400 on that motor. Service shop would have a vacuum smoke tester & there are DIY's on the web how to make your own.
