  • r33 stallng issue

hey guys so got a 93 r33 gtst and im having some issues with it stalling randomly. when im driving sometimes between shifts it just randomly stalls. if i shift out throw it in neutral to slow down for a red light stop sign etc it will once in a while just turn off. if i notice the rpms about to hit 0 i just rev it a little and the rpms pick up to idle and doesnt stall. also if it does stall like that and i downshift while the rpms are still at 0, i let off the clutch and it starts up again.. any ideas to what the issue is? do i need a idle tune? misfire?

Check TPS adjustment, as ECU should kick rpm up to prevent engine from stalling if touches idle contact inside TPS. When TPS fails engine can randomly stall. Also check CAS for worn bearings (age related failure), as when faulty engine can randomly stall (first symptom is hard starting when engine is warm or cold).
