  • need rb20 water line help!!

i just dropped my rb20 in and connected everything back up accept for a water line that i noticed when i started pouring coolant in and it started leaking out! can anyone tell me where this line is needed to be hooked up to?

you can see where the green coolant is leaking in the pic

Looks like the coolant tube that supplies coolant to the turbo. Btw why is your ignition coil common ground just sitting there ?

I'm not being disrespectful but have you done an engine transplant before?

I c . Ok not discriminating just don't want you to ruin your RB by hooking something where it shouldn't go. Like a coolant line to a vacuum port. 😳 yep someone actually done it. Wasn't me and it was an STI engine .

first time removing and dropping the engine in. had to replace my old one since it was pooched. i get help from my friend and his father. he built a drift car and his father is a mechanic so i had lots of help with the major stuff. it got dropped in yesterday and i hooked everything up today. i marked basically everything that goes with eachother so it was easy to connect accept for a few things that i missed.

and i just checked the turbo line is already into the back of the block. so there is 2 water lines at the back of the block and still need to figure out what that open one is

Ok. Not sure about the 20 but my 25 has the coolant tube from throttle body hook up there.

I'm not 100% on 20. My 25 has 2 coolant tubes at the t/b. one coming from the bleeder screw for coolant into side of t/b and the other one out the other side of t/b and into a metal line under the intake manifold.

i think it might be for the heater. seeing as its connected to the heater line which that goes into the fire wall. and i cant find anything else to connect to. so i think im going to just block it off and see if anything over heats
