Help! RB20 stalls randomly

When i let my car idling for about 10 minutes it will randomly stall and sometimes while im driving it will loose power and stall. Anyone have had this problem before?

Check CAS. Put a mechanics stethoscope on CAS and listen for bearing failing type of sound. It's common for CAS to drop ignition timing 1-2degrees (drop in power) and engine stalls (CAS looses sync, similar to unplugging CAS) when the bearings inside CAS fail (NTN? brand bearings).

Usually the first symptoms are hard starting when engine is cold or hot. Also there's a CAS error code on ECU, so using Consult (Nissan's handheld diganostic computer), can check for CAS error code. There is Conzult software (aftermarket), Consult cables you can buy, for using a laptop to do basically the same job.

Sometimes it can TPS, MAF, intake airleak related (especially with FMIC). Intake airleak check is free to do (tighten intake hose clamps, check for cracks in intake piping joiners under hodeclamps, etc).
