Blue plug knock sensor sub harness/ motor mounts rb25

Two questions first one i have a blue plug that is attached to the knock sensor sub harness and i was trying to figure out if this needs to be plugged in? Because mine is not and for me to plug it in would result in having to remove the intake manifold and i would rather not have to. And the second question is will the rb25 NEO motor mounts fit a normal rb25det motor?

Got a pic of the plug? Whatever mounts were on your original engine will fit the neo engine and your subframe.

I need to pull the intake manifold off to get a picture of it but I know it plugs into the sensor that bolts to the bottom of the freddy intake. The people that installed the intake did a half*** job broke a knock sensor and did not plug in that blue plug so I get the pleasure of reinstalling the the intake manifold and replacing the knock sensor to the rear of the motor. so i will have the intake manifold off this weekend to replace the knock sensor so i guess ill just plug it in when i do that but i would still like to know what it does. thanks
