Great tires, I run them on my mini. Havn't run them in the rain so I can't comment on that but they are suppose to be one of the better street legal DOT tires in the rain (excluding rain specific tires).
Edit: You don't need DOT stamped tires in Canada, JIS tire standards (i think that's the code japan uses) are recognized by canada. -
