  • FS: R34 GT500 TT BB SUPER RARE!! $2500$

hey i impulsively bought these turbos from ebay japan. Just cleared on Thursday.

i paid 2000US plus 200US shipping... 2550CDN was the wire transfer then Customs taxed another 350CDN on top.... Yippy. so these babies cost me 2900CDN (Very expensive 5am impulse buy)

I dont want to spend another 5-800 installing them at a shop... Anyone wants them?

    Here is the ebay discription:

    SUPER GT GT500 NISMO BNR34 GT-R TURBOS!

    BALL BEARING TURBOS! MAGNESIUM HOUSING!

    RACE ONLY SPECIAL TURBO

    Equivalent to none!

    2004 Race year model!(LAST YEAR of RB26DETT)

These turbos are taken off from the 2004 Race year GT500 Class NISMO BNR34 GT-R car. Used only for 1 race, and are still in great condition!

Special thing about this turbos are : Magnesium super lightweight intake housing, special actuators, special intake wheels, and special turbine blades

All for spooling quickly and still having top end power!

The top class world race turbos and these would not come around again.

Perfect for those with GT-R RB26DETT as they have the same housing (will need the manifold to accept the studs) or if you want to use it on RB26DETT engine, this would be perfect!

They are used with restrictors, and still makes 500HP! They are made with much higher tolerances, so it will be more durable than those you can buy from stores.

    2500CDN

I also have the serial numbers for both:

    One turbo says 14111-1A701-7 CK 9002J 480000-1107
    2nd turbo says: 14111-0A609-7 AD 9083J 480000-0413

So they dont bolt on to the stock manifolds?
If not where could i get a manifold to accept these?
Are these better then the N1's? (Probably a stupid question but had to ask)
        Thanks

          wow.. nice turbo setup.

          curious:

Are race turbos more reliable or less reliable than street turbos?
          S14 with some mods
          GTR with some paint

my thinking exactly , i figured that being built for racing they would need to be serviced after every race , but i dont know just my thoughts , the guy said he mounted them , so i guess we will find out soon if they are any good.

                problem turned solution

                hey thanks for everyones post.

Race turbos are more durable because they are made for race and high boost applications. like the ad says.. High tolerance and more durable.

right now i was planning to install them in my R32... got my stock turbos out of my car and a few things i noticed.. the oil return flange is Slightly narrower.

Like for example the stock Garrett RB26DETT flange is 1.5" from bolt to bolt. and these special turbos are like 1.3" from bolt to bolt. flanges are not bolt on.

I drove to kinetic motorsports and got custom flanges made to make it fit. and it is a perfect machined part, looks better than new. even came with braided steel hoses to run to oil flanges. so that part is ok.

but the ONE not both of the turbos doesnt clear the exhaust manifold when trying to mount it. the intake pipe towards the intercooler hits the exhaust manifold.

(will post pictures soon of clearance problem)

I have to take turbos to kinetic and have them turned, because that will solve the clearance problem 100% they need to be rotated maybe 10-15 degrees for the intake pipe to clear the exhaust manifold and align to proper RB26 demensions.

then these bad boys will techinally be a bolt on. (I wish i knew all this before i bought them)

So yeah whoever is interested in these turbos.. when sold to you, they WILL be a bolt on to stock or aftermarket exhaust manifolds and will come with special flanges and hoses for oil return lines. You can call Takeda Enterprises to confirm the install progress of what has happened with trying to install them.

as you can see i am spending more and more money into these bacause i know they are worth it. the flange and braided hoses cost almost 80 bucks but now they will work perfectly. and turning the turbo might be 100 bucks. not sure yet.

Regardless of these two problems that are being corrected i still am asking 2500CDN. thank you for all that are interested.

these are rated better than N1. and lightweight.

                    Turbo's

Will all the stock gaskets fit on to these turbo's?
Would i have to replace my injectors, if so what kind of injectors would have to be used?

the turbos do not require larger injectors.. its the boost level you want to attain is when the injectors come to question.

if you replace these bolt on turbos and run upto 1.1-1.2 bar stock injectors are still efficient.

unless you want to run over 1.2 bar of boost, then you need larger injectors, larger fuel pump, and then power fc or an ecu tune for the injector size and fuel map at such high boost.

yes all the stock gaskets will fit, but i suggest a new gasket kit.

last thing you want is to spend 6-8 hours of install and start the car with a gasket leak. do it right the first time!!!! The oil return line on both turbos are slightly smaller than stock like i mentioned in my first post. but i got custom 10AN flanges made for them and comes with the sale. Also i will include the hoses to match stock to new fittings. 100% bolt on.
