ARP has a special alloy stud material that we have access to that we are making custom L19 Head studs to fit the 800+hp needs of your R35 GTR.
Now of course we already have the L19s for the RB26 and 2JZGTE
I have presold half the batch as we speak and wanted to get everyone else in on getting a set because these studs take 8-10 weeks to make and are VERY expensive and will only do another batch if the demand is there.
The ARP L19 Head Stud kit represents the most clamping power available for the R35 cylinder head. The L19 head studs have over 1000 psi more clamping force compared to the standard ARP Head Stud Kit (WHICH IS NOT RELEASED YET). These exotic head studs are recommended in any application exceeding 800+ Horsepower. No modification to the block or cylinder head are required, these are a direct drop-in replacement for the OEM head stud. When you consider doing 1/2" studs you have to machine the head, machine the block, redo the head gasket, buy 1/2" studs, washers, nuts, and they are a pain to install. And you also have to transport an entire engine somewhere to do it. This solution is much more cost effective and feasibly work better than 1/2" studs while saving you time and work.
The L19 Head Stud Kit will be RETAILING for $1000 and will be selling at $950
We are offering the PRESALE at $850 Shipped for a 4 week period starting today and ending on Feb 16th. We will allow a 50% deposit now and the remaining when complete.
Again we have about 10 sets left out of the batch so if this is something that will fit into your build ie: (Sleeves, Cams, Big Bore, etc) then this is for you!
