I picked up one of these last year. I do like it but the HD isn't much better than the regular one. The pictures aren't too great cause of the fish eye effect and the camera is useless without good lighting.

Other than that, it's great. Videos are nice and the thing is small/practical. Good price too! It's a great budget camera for the guys in sports!

^^ honestly, i've been fooling around with Gopros for over 2 years (i've had every version) and the price of the full 1080p version really isn't jusifiable,

you'll never use 1080p because its not 60fps, so when you make a video montage slowing down the video makes it look supper crappy, and in 1080 the angle of view is 127deg, which is wrothless,
the first Gopro ever wasn't wide-angle, it was 90deg view, and it sucked because you couldn't see anything,

get the 960
