Nice! it's worth as much as half the car. What's the other half the transmission? It's a glorified 350ZG35-37! Has anyone swapped this monster in a 300zx yet? Seems too big for a skyline.
    No build thread.

I want to throw this in a Fairlady Z, and build it like the JUN Hyper Lemon R just because i believe that its got serious potential. Ok so im pointing out the obvious but comeon its sick.

really shows the value of GM crate Ls7's now doesn't it... 25 more horsepower and 1/3 the price. (or just a used built LS1 at 1/10th the price LOL)

i dont think its too much money considering it has just been released..

but putting it into any kind of vehicle would take some serious fabricating, and knowledge...

in a couple years when the price goes down 10-15k i can see people buying these for 350Z's

I don't see how it's overpriced seeing as a brand new full VG30DETT from Nissan is like 15k + shipping, and they made THOUSANDS of those engines. They aren't exactly pumping out hundreds of these things a day.

I'm a little curious to see if it is even possible right now. You would need to use the ECU from the Nissan GTR to run it right? Wouldn’t it need the rest of the car to work properly?

A good enough standalone could probably run it, it's just wiring a custom harness to it that would be a task.
