  • FS: 3 BCNR33 Transmissions

Making space in the garage: I have 3 stock BCNR33 GT-R transmissions available. Two of them for $200 with no transfer case and one with transfer case for $250. These are personal parts that are physically in my home garage, not at XS.

If you are looking to build a transmission with a PPG, OS, or Quaife gearset then this is your calling. You will not have a need to drop your own trans and have your GTR down at this price. I have no idea what condition the transmissions are in, but I can tell you that they are not broken. Worn synchros maybe, but there are no broken parts. They might be perfect - I have no idea. They came on a container of stuff from Japan.

Also, I have one RB26DETT engine block without a girdle. $150 takes it. Great for mocking up turbos, intercoolers, downpipes, etc. while your real engine is being built.

Local pickups welcome. If you want them shipped, you will have to arrange your own freight company to pickup. They can be strapped on a pallet for your freight company to pickup.

    PM if interested.

I assume that the BCNR33 transmission would bolt right in on the R32s? I have a GTS with an RB25DET in it AND an RB25DET transmission (not the DE version), which is effectively the same tranny as an R32 GTR, minus the transfer case/front driveshaft combo.

Any idea where to procure the internal parts of the tranny for a rebuild? Would this transmission accept Getrag internals or is it a totallly different animal?

I may be interested in the RB26 block as well. Is it rebuildable or just a paperweight with no internals? What all comes with it?

Please pm me with details. I have a freight company that would move it for me from your place to mine at my expense.

    Thanks.

The BCNR33 transmissions will bolt in to pull type clutch R32s. With minor drilling and tapping, they will also work with the push type clutch early R32.

You can get the parts to rebuild these transmissions from your local Nissan dealership. They are the same as the 300ZX Z32 transmission.

The block is okay, but requires a main girdle. If you get a main girdle from another block, you will have to have a machine shop align hone the bearing bores. The block is also o-ringed to accept copper wire, but require a honing job to be used.

I publicly posted the response so I would have to retype this response 50 times.

      Thanks,
      Eric
