To all users,
In recent months, membership and activity levels on GTRC has really taken off. Skylines in Canada is now a reality, and is proving to be a real alternative to other available cars in import enthusiasts' short list of cars for purchase consideration. As well, models like the GTS-t is inexpensive enough that many younger enthusiasts are able to buy them, perhaps before they have had enough time to really appreciate the performance potential...and risks of owning one.
As such, I would like to bring everyone's attention to rule number 15. in our forum rules:
15. - Discussion of illegal activities - Being concerned about the image of this club and of the Nissan Skyline in Canada, posts about street racing stories are NOT PERMITTED.
If you have a desperate need to brag about illegal activities, do it off the forums. Any such posts will be deleted and you will receive a warning. Try it again and you'll be banned.
I cannot stress enough how seriously we take this issue. The admin and moderators take a zero tolerance position. As said by one mod: "It's not racing, it's not fast, and there's no concern for public safety. All in all, a no-win situation. Allowing the street racing people to have a voice about their "exploits" will increase the post count but decrease the quality".
We can have fun, we can enjoy our cars, we can explore its limits on a suitable venue, and we can earn the respect of our peers and authorities.
Don't make GTRC into something we don't want it to be.
