Holy thread revival, Batman! For those of you that are still having an issue fitting with an aftermarket seat and rails, if you're even slightly mechanically inclined there's a pretty easy solution.

    1. Remove the carpet where the rails mount to the car
    2. With a zip cut, remove the two metal humps where the rail attaches.
    3. Mount the seat directly to the floor using the bracket from an aftermarket rail, or an angle iron if you don't have a rail bracket
    - this will also prevent anyone else from driving your car, unless they're the same height fyi.
    4. Replace carpet. You will probably have to cut a few slits for the seat brackets
    5. Profit
Looking for cheap parts? supguyex (Jon) is parting out his car. Good prices, good guy.
