Does this happen to anyone else?

It seems to happen to me more often now than before, just about everyday, I have at least one [group of] pedestrian[s] yelling at me to try to get me to "light em up" and then usually followed by yelling out "*****!" when there request is not met. It's getting kind of annoying, and it usually seems to just be pedestrians who clearly don't own a vehicle, let alone a nice one, and don't understand the costs of owning one.

idk about skylines, but i know every riced up bee in a can civic at my school is yelled at at lunches to burn out...im sitting there listening to all these kids screaming at the '96 si to burn out. annoying as hell.

if i had to ask for anything, it wouldnt be a burn out, but for someone just to open it up. i take enjoyment in that.

I don't really get the whole burn out thing. I could do that in my 60hp 1986 Civic. So what exactly does it prove?

I had that same request from road workers. Just smiled, shook head, kept on driving. Drove by them again on the way back, same request.

i get the request a lot, especially at the gas station by my house... people are ridiculous, im not going to waste my expensive tires for nothing... maybe warming them up at the drag strip i might do a little burn out but thats it, doesnt prove anything.

we had a little meet a couple weeks ago with about 5 skylines and this guy in a mustang gt pulled up to the parking lot we were in and proceeded to do donuts in an obnoxious fashion. Needless to say, we were all very impressed lol

The only time i've done anything of the sort was when talking to Lord_GTR a while back at the Tim's at 403/Dundas. He was showing me under the hood and whatnot, and I asked him to open it up when he hit dundas, and boy did he. hearing those bovs were just exhilerating.

I get this pretty often, i guess somehow its gotten around my school that "the guy with the white skyline never rips balls." that is an actual quote.

Theres a pulsar at my school that drives like a complete dumbass, and a bunch of hondas that are always doing burnouts and trying to race me. I just ignore them, I only open my car up on merges. Thats when its fun, because theres some necessity to flooring it, not just impressing some 13 year olds.

I seem to get it more often in my GTS with The rear fender and Driver's side door all smashed in from The accident back in April, Rather then When I rock out the GTR... back in my first car i had some kids yell at me to light them up... when i lol'd at them and drove away they picked up a rock and threw it at my car.. it hit with a dull thud on my rear quarter... i slamed on the brakes, they ran off... i circled the block a couple times and then spotted them... so i drove a few blocks ahead parked my car, and waited... they walked by and saw my car. i was waiting just outside of it behind a tree... i heard them say " oh **** theres that car, i wonder if that guy is around?" well they didnt get to say anything else other than screaming in fear.... i poped out from behind the tree punched the kid in the face who threw the rock and then chased them up the road a bit while kicking there feet out making them trip... i would let the one kid get back up pnly to trip him again...

i bet they never ask someone to light it up again and i also bet they never throw a rock at another car.... those kids were on the verge of doing a no.2 in there pants

Your lucky those kids were too stupid to report you to the police. You had a fairly distinctive car which would have made it easy to find you. Just because they hit your car with a rock does not justify you assaulting them.

someone vandalizes your car, you vandalize their face, seems fair to me

and on topic... i get this all the time. just the other day i had a 16yo on a bike taunting me, i was caught off guard. It's funny how only people without cars, or people with beat up shitty cars try to get me to go.

Also around my town anyway, my best friend with a 350z TT has others (usually grown men) trying to race him all the time, muscle cars, porches, whatever else.. yet those same people pull up beside me and....nothing.

well when it happened i was 19, and they were prolly 16-17...

they assaulted my car, so i assaulted them... and if they had reported me to the police that would have been fine... i would have no problem being arressted for getting my own justice served... back in the day i was the type of person you would not want to pourposely piss off, and neither were my friends... thankfully we all grew up, but if some punk kid were to do the same thing again... well id prolly do the same thing, cause obviously the kids parents didnt punish or teach there kids properly.... lol

as for having a distinctive car.... LOL you call an 87 white 4cyl ford rustang distinctive... lol thats funny...
