  • Home made oil relocator kit

    hey guys.

does anyone have any good pictures of a their greddy oil relocator kit..or any other kind of oil relocator kit for that matter. or information on how they move the oil from engine through attachment pieces to filter and back to engine (specifically whether its just machined and drilled pieces or whether its complicated cast pieces). i guess im just looking for an idea of how they flow the oil through each attachment piece. I plan to machine some sort of homemade version, but im not sure of whether or not i should lathe and drill something easy or be extra careful of flow in the piece... also does anyone know the pitch/diameter of the place where you screw on the oil filter normally.

    any input would be great!!

this is all i can really find for pics:

I'm sure someone must make a cheap knockoff. that looks like way to much work to fabricate and get it right. I'll see what i can find

I think the GTR is 3/4-16 stud like most Nissans.

Greedy / Trust has flow diagrams on their website -

Permacool is another brand for remote oil filter mounts (cheaper) -

Remote take off plate for shortblock -

                    Permacool online catalog -

Just need fittings, adaptors, braided hose for a high quality setup.

Less than $50 US for a basic Permacool remote oilfilter kit (without braided hoses, fittings, etc, which make it expensive) -

Don't think you could make one for a cheaper price.

I agree with you there. i've noticed that a lot of knock off stuff is exactly the same just doesn't have a brand name stamped into it

ya the jegs and premacool stuff that skym posted look exactly the same as everything else ive seen, just way cheaper.

what are you even saying here?? what or who is summit?

For 50 $ its mad cheap, but id still probably rather make on myself. take an hour on a lathe and drill press, then weld in some hose nipples, and... voila done.

also how much are you guys paying for braided hoses. i couldnt find any good pricing ideas except for ebay. also what diameter hose and how long to relocate to usual spot?
