I drive car fairly conservatively on the road to make sure I don't break anything.

A Skyline has to be setup, serviced correctly for racetrack, so it can be thrashed and take the thrashing.

I drive mine to walk the fine line of having fun while not being a nusance to traffic. Thats not to say I don't let loose once and a while... My repair bills are proof of that.

Yeah I don't listen to him. I waited 3 years for this car and I treat it like that. I mean I have fun too, but I never do it stupidly nor to the risk of others. On the streets I drive it very, very calmly rarely doing over the speed limit or being an idiot to other people driving. I guess with owning these cars comes a mutual maturity level.

and Stiky i know what you mean because some of my friends expect me to beat my skyline just because they think it should always go fast but i wont listen to them and take to the track if i wanna race

like a *****. 90% of the people i cruise with say i need to grow a pair, and drive the car the way its meant to be. but to me the car is worth more that beating on it. Fixing everything that breaks yourself, when you dont have that much time to begin with gets tiring after awhile lol. not to say babying it seems to help, still broken more than not.
on the streets i drive really really conservative, everynow and then i will give it a little but never past 5000rpm.

i feel like an idiot driving like a douche on public roads, and cruising with people who do drive like that makes me feel like an idiot also.

i wait for the strip, even then i take it fairly easy on my car.
my shitty paying kitchen help job dosent cut it to pay for my repair bills. cant wait for highschool to be over.

I drive like a goddam grandma. Only rarely will I actually open the throttle at all. Why? Because I'm used to the power so it's not exciting anymore. Plus, driving like a tard for a tank nets me 250kms to the fuel light. Driving like a mom nets me nearly 400 now. *

                    * I only drove to the fuel light to see just how far I could go on a tank

seems to be the general consensus here that we all drive fairly conservatively most of the time.. and no one should blame us (although the aussies and brits might - they love to rag on their cars all the time lol)

but honestly its tougher to get our nice cars the way we like em over here in canada... much tougher than the UK or AUS... so i would say we drive our cars appropriatley given the market conditions of buying/finding a SOLID skyline out here. we all wanna keep what we've worked super hard for.

                        I drive like a grandma.

Always have and probably always will.

Cept I take corners a little faster than I probably should, and off lights a little faster than I should. Gotta get the fun where you can!

I drove very conservative when I first picked up my skyline. Mind you I haven't driven manual for more than 5 years. The very first day I got alot of looks and also got cut off! I was driving the speed limit and it seems everyone who passes me from pickups to vans wants me to peel out of the road.

Don't pay attention to anybody, drive it as you wish and enjoy the highways when the coast is clear.

Goal for springtime, drive better and get a feel of the car more as it is now in storage

Sport driving is ok, as long as you keep within the speed limits and is not dangerous driving. Can sport drive at open road speeds with sweeping corners that Skylines like going around.

I usually drive it like a baby around the city.. mainly because of the intense potholes:

every once in a while I'll find some nice pavement and have a little fun
