top speed?

hey guys
so ive always wanted to know what the top speed is for a r32 gtr? ive never got a solid answer
ive gotton 180 alot but thats where the limiter is set at isnt it?
so does anyone know??

there is a limiter at 180 and then i believe another one at 230

I've only ever heard of the Japanese standard 180km/h limiter. In an R32 GTR using stock tires (225/50/16) in 5th gear at 8000rpm you should be doing 191mph or 307km/h, although the fastest anyone i know has ever gone was somewhere around 280kph I believe.

I "topped" out my car during a trackday, managed 220-ish kmh in a mostly stock gtst, it was still pulling nicely, but the front straight was quickly ending

I say 220ish, because I have a 180km/h speedo, and it was well past 180, I figure it looked to be 220-230.

AKA: Plenty fast enough for me.

Iv hit 260kmh it feels like a rocket. You dont really see how fast your going till you look around and seeing things fly by! Tunnel vision.
