  • Left hand conversions?

I was searching around for a new vehicle, (not a skyline yet) and happend to find this

Is this real? can a RHD be turned into a LHD?
How would one tell if its another car that's been kitted to look like a Skyline,
also, opinions about turning a RHD into LHD? good or bad? does it take away its uniqueness or etc?

Yes its real, a RHD can be turned to LHD.

Personally I dont like LHD converted imports I think if you buy a skyline or any other import, you should enjoy it the way it was made, not modify it because you dont like RHD.

That being said I suppose with all the "RHD bans" going on in the east coast people would have a legit reason to convert to LHD if that would allow them to drive their car.

I agree, I bought my skyline because it was unique and I like being different, the rhd just adds to that

To much to be worth it IMO. Rhd isnt even a big deal, you get use to it after a few minutes.

But anyway, prices are in here

Thats wannaFerrari's GTR on kijiji ask him more about the LHD conversion. Although that car probably came from Dubai where they usually do LHD conversions for some reason. If you want a car from Japan Just keep it RHD. Keep it traditional so when people see your car it stands out.

UAE has LHD vehicles ONLY but does allow RHD vehicles up to 1 year to remain as RHD before its converted to LHD

I actually prefer rhd. Allways got my chick with me so drive thrus are no prob. Just have to be patient sometimes with over taking a lh turns at intersection. That east indian rich kid in the escalade with spinners will have to just have to keep honking

sorry for bringing a up an old thread!!! One small question.

Hypothetically speaking, say I do get a LHD gtr from some place like from the LHD-GTR.com or somewhere in duabi, would it be insurable here? (ontario) or would it be not allowed since its modified and stuff. If it is insurable, would it be cheaper than the rhd counterpart? Thanks in advance!!!

o ya, first time posting, this is an awesome forum!!!!
