Okay and you didn't mention the front? the front didn't rub at any times?

I mean if it only rub over bump speed, I can deal with that In QC, you can get a ticket for tire rubbing ,so just have to be a bit more careful.

well if you decide to drive your car like a puss then get the 275's cause you're not going to be able to track with them at all or you'll destroy your rear fenders and possibly yours fronts.
My car keeps on stealing my money .

I want to see pictures too because I'M about to order tires and I'm thinking between 255-275
in your case, i'd go with 265s max, since the profile will be 35 (if wheels are 18"), the sidewall won't be able to flex as much as a 40 profile, the 275s might not fit/work

depends on what you want to do,

in my case i need the biggest tires i can put on my 17x9 since i do alot of track, and want the baller status
but when you think about it, R32GTRs had 225s as stock, so you don't "need" more than that
but 225s on a 9" rim will be streched inward
245s will sit flush, anything over 245 will be strechted outward

do you do only street? drag/track? street racing like an idiot?, those are the questions you need to ask yourself

also, larger tires will cost more, and be harder on fuel economy

255 on an 8 inch rim looks super wide, as i have a pair sitting in my room right now. so i bet those would look good on a 9
