these cars have power. power plus bad choices usually end with accidents. this can be said with any car...not just skylines

a stock r32 GTR has no power.
it was less then 300 out of factory , let alone all the horses that have been lost over time.
not to mention that particular car was poop
its purely chalked up to either a stupid driver behind the wheel or another stupid driver on the road.

I posted on this in the spotted thread as well.....
I did confirm with the previous owner that this was the car he just sold off kijiji. He said the kid who picked it up could barely even get it into gear let alone drive it. Only had it like a day before doing this...if not the day he picked it up.
A friend of mine was wanting to check it out before it sold.....his Skyline knowledge is still limited so he had me chatting with the owner. His name was Mike, don't think he's a member here.
I never saw the car in person....but apparently it wasn't stock, he said he had 1/4 slips for sub 11 sec.

I concur on the "effing around + inexperience = disaster" cause of this wreck.
Do hope he's ok though.

So by that logic, age aside, R34 GTRs are slow? Same engine, after all. And the 280bhp rating was pretty conservative (gentleman's agreement).

They DO have power. It's all relative. Especially to someone who hasn't experienced boost before.

And I agree its relitve you see more people lossing control of 114hp econoboxs then you do other vehicles. But that's why I said it.

And yes stock untouched r34 arnt powerful considering thier weight class.

I saw this vechicle on the truck after the accident. The person survived but I am not sure of their condition. As for the car it still started and ran after. But it was sent to the scrap yard. Not sure if it was parted out. I noticed the car had some sort of alcohol injection system hooked up. It also had under 100,000 kms on it.
