Ya well like I said I have yet to wash it really good to see anymore and half the car was in shade at the time I called Icbc. This gives Icbc a chance to gain my respect again for them if they decide to do a respray considering the rest of the paint is from 1996. I'm crossing my fingers

i feel you..same thing happened to me last year...the messed up thing is that, some one keyed my car during the first day i put it on the road!!!i just bought it..i was parked outside a shop that does emition test (cant remember the name..its on maclaughlin and eglington) anyways came back outside after talking to front desk, to find a 14 inch scratch just above my driver side rear tire.....FIRST DAY ON THE ROAD!!! i was still on the 15 day permit...thats when i started thinking how lucky i am that im not the guy thats jealous...now i carry an extendo in my trunk since i dont have an alarm yet

Are you drunk? First you don't believe the OP and want "pics or didn't happen". Then you take a comment of "I saw you driving" as Ben keying his car?

Wow you pay out of the ass for coverage but getting some of the service you pay for is like pulling teeth. Hopefully everything works out and your ride becomes nice and shiny again.

So I went to the newton claim center. Gave them my statement, got a final estimate of $2200. They are pretty much painting the entire car minus the roof, drivers door, trunk and rear bumper. Now the car is going to have a Dec on it. I know it's only paint but it's definalty going to hurt when I try to sell.

So my question is has anyone here ever claimed for accelerated depreciation? Have you got anything out of Icbc because of it? I just find it unfair that I'll loose money in the ling run because of someone else.
