Ya well like I said I have yet to wash it really good to see anymore and half the car was in shade at the time I called Icbc. This gives Icbc a chance to gain my respect again for them if they decide to do a respray considering the rest of the paint is from 1996. I'm crossing my fingers

i feel you..same thing happened to me last year...the messed up thing is that, some one keyed my car during the first day i put it on the road!!!i just bought it..i was parked outside a shop that does emition test (cant remember the name..its on maclaughlin and eglington) anyways came back outside after talking to front desk, to find a 14 inch scratch just above my driver side rear tire.....FIRST DAY ON THE ROAD!!! i was still on the 15 day permit...thats when i started thinking how lucky i am that im not the guy thats jealous...now i carry an extendo in my trunk since i dont have an alarm yetLast edited by JVizZLe; 09-13-2011, 04:19 AM.

lol anyways update... icbc thinks i did it. i called icbc on sunday they said i didn't have comprehensive, but it was on my papers. the lady added it manualy, adjuster saw comprehensive added recently within 10 day. So he wants to talk to me and see the car on thursday and i have appointment with craftsmen collision next wednesday.Last edited by cooke24; 09-13-2011, 08:19 PM.

So I went to the newton claim center. Gave them my statement, got a final estimate of $2200. They are pretty much painting the entire car minus the roof, drivers door, trunk and rear bumper. Now the car is going to have a Dec on it. I know it's only paint but it's definalty going to hurt when I try to sell.
So my question is has anyone here ever claimed for accelerated depreciation? Have you got anything out of Icbc because of it? I just find it unfair that I'll loose money in the ling run because of someone else.
