thats almost as bad as the ass-hat that decided to boot fu**k my passenger side door. Now ive got a dent the size of a shoe toe right on the concave spine of the door that should be a cool $600+ to fix.

So my question is has anyone here ever claimed for accelerated depreciation? Have you got anything out of Icbc because of it? I just find it unfair that I'll loose money in the ling run because of someone else.
I dissagree. Doesn't matter if you claimed it. The car was keyed, and will have almost a completely new paint job. Anyone who is seriously interested in your car or knows anything about cars in general will understand that the car is freshly painted and not because it was in an accident.

I would think this would work positively in your favour?

claim it only if your deductible is $300. i hope this turns out in my favor as i do plan on selling early spring and importing a couple more.

^ I agree with Tony here.. You only get dinged if your car is involved in any accident

It is even worst if it is over $2000 worth of collision damages..

Car just is in the shop will post pics of new paintjob. I'm hoping to get it back on friday or Saturday. Also manager said he'll be painting hood, both front fenders, both doors, both rear fenders. alittle more than what Icbc wanted to do.

So the car looks great! More orange peel than I want so body shop is going to sand that down to a mirror finish. I took a picture but the paint on the car before was mint so not a clear difference... I'm happy

that sucks hope you get the car compleatly painted. my car was hit and insurance only painted the left side. the new water based paints don't match as well as the old. try and push it to get done right.
