Boddy was arrested and charged with eight counts of fraud over $5,000 with a total over $80,000 he scooped from buyers. On Facebook there are 46 members in a group called "Fraud Victims of Jeremy Boddy" meaning his trail of scams is even more widespread than police believe. Boddy was able conduct business for over four years by developing a Ponzi scheme where he would issue partially refunds to those who complained using the money he jacked from new victims. But it seems like this is the end of the road for Boddy who is bankrupt, facing several serious charges, is now homeless since his house is being sold. On top of the web of legal mess, he also has many angry car guys from all over North America looking for him.
