Getting laid in the Skyline won't be a problem for me as the wife loooovvvveeeessss the car and gets her going.

As for the camera thing, hahahahaha happened to me tonight for the first time. You ever seen those movies where something big is happening and all the tourists grab there cameras and take pic's, well it was something like that . It was a group of 7-10 people, flashes going off like the paperatzi, while I was at a set of lights downtown on my way to work. I think I've suffered minor retna burn :P .

      seriously, you actually did that?!

      HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!

Damn right. I love this car, but I won't be inconvenienced by it... I am, after all, the one footing the bill. It's a straight shot, any way, and I don't do it very often anymore, it got old disappointingly quick, too.

Maybe I'll have try start trying the windy one's now to break up the monotony!!!!

And, while I agree that I wouldn't want a tire biter (been there....) I can't say that I get less attention from the opposite sex because of it. I'm lightly spoken for, so it's not the kind of thing I'm playing with....

But I did just turn 30, and the attention doesn't hurt the ego any, regardless of age!!!!!

WERD! My ex gf hated cars and everytime I talked about them. It was just in one ear and out the other. But she knew how I felt about the Skyline and when I started searching for one she helped me pick it out. She still didnt like the idea though (mostly cause of the money issues) but knew its my dream car and I was going to buy it anyways.

But once the car arrived and I took her for her first ride......OH MAN!!! She loved it! Yup, that was a good night / morning / week LOL 8)

same as my wife, she hates cars and doesn't pay attention when I talk about them. SHe doesn't like the GTR too much because the hard suspension makes her feel sick, but last week we were out in the GTR and I ripped it a liitlle bit to pass someone and she was laughing her ass off. I asked her what was so funny, and she told me to do it again! She like the sound of the intakes as well when they are at full suckage.

My gf also loves it when I rip it. She use to whine every time I floored with the cavy.... (I know I know it was pointless)

It kinda surprised me when she said after I went next to an NSX... "I liked it when you went against that NSX" O'rly?!

              (not mine, im car-less)

I have a good story from a while ago -

I was at the lights, next to me was a Civic. I look over and he's looking at me, revving his engine. I could tell it was highly modified by how loud it was. The lights went green and we both went as hard as we could, I got the initial edge on him, was about a meter in front. By the time we both had crossed the intersection, we both were neck on neck, I could hear his engine screaming its lungs out, the vtec power his stickers were promoting was doing its job.

We got about 100m up the road then I gave in and let him win. I got the royal fly-by as he sped off into the distance. I slowed down, hopped off my pushbike and carried it into the garage.

GTR's are that RARE in east coast ? since so many members are from either east or central.... I figure they wouldn't be as rare ?

haha people here in Vancouver barely noticed our cars at all... like it's just some regular 2 door family coupe'....lolz

i could go on and on and on about funny stories .. here in newfoundland its all muscle cars and i can count on one hand the number of rare imports and mine being the only rhd car on the island and the only skyline .. its retarded the stuff i hear ..

still my fav question that i get asked on a daily basis is "how did you get that here?" and i just reply with a smile "a boat" : ) lol i always get the most confused looks : ) ..

                            1989 skyline gts-t .. the slut ..

OK, You've gotta like this attitude....

I'm on a night out with my wife, waiting for a red light. A late model Maxima with a couple of guys in it is waiting to turn left. I look up and the driver has both hands beside up beside his head, palms out. He's bowing repeatedly! (Big wave and a thumbs up to him. )

My light turns green, we drive off and my wife says 'They're worshiping your car!' in amazement.
