I think the strangest thing happened to me last night..

Had someone come up to my door, and ask me if my car was for sale. I proceed to say, no? and I walk outside with him. I find atleast 10 other people with him surrounding it and touching it...awkwardly.

I had an elderly woman come up to me as I was driving through a mall parking lot and tell me that I was disrespecting Canada by driving on the right side! and how she wants them to stop letting the cars in the country because britain has rhd.

thought I would revive this but a buddy of mine from niagara was going to japan for a few months and wanted someone to look over his GTR and I yelled out ILL DO IT!. so he picked me up and I drove him to the air port and went home and on the way home I got pulled over 60 in a 60, 94 sunoco is expensive i dont burn it in rush hour. and a cop came up and i pulled down both windows and waived him over and he goes this is new and I said yea to me too i car sitting for a friend and goes oh really. and i give him all the paper work insurance papers yadda yadda and he goes nice and hes looking inside and what not and I asked him if he would like to sit inside and he goes sure so I let him sit inside start it up he revs it hes all giddy looking around and he said my shift ends soon and I said I know what you want and we went to a parking lot and he drove it around not fast just slow poking around and then he stopped and I asked how was it. and he replied im going home to get one for myself. and i LOL'ed and when he drove off he did the biggest peel out ive ever seen lol. And i brought it hoome and parked it in my drive way so I can put the car cover on it and all the neighbourhood kids came out and stared and asked questions most of them are punks and asked to sit inside and I just said I lost the keys lol. God cant wait for work tomorrow. My boss is gonna crap his pants lol.

well in vancouver skylines are a bit more common so its no surprise when people see my car. which is good because i hate the attention the car gets. its not appreciative attention from car enthusiasts, its "why is he on that side" attention

i was going to make a right turn and a pedestrian told me "WOAH! its cool that you're on that side! for a second there, i thought i smoked too much pot!" then we both had a laugh and i told him "yeah most people get scared and confused when they see a right hand drive car" then we both laughed and he gave me 2 cigarettes and told me he loves my car.

this happened today actually,
I was driving down my street going slow cruising and there was a van parked on the other side with a bunch of people from my high school, There jaws dropped and then they looked at me and i smiled and laughed at the same time.
It feels nice when people look and are happy about the view of your car. Although so much unneeded attention can lead to bad things.

it was funny bringing my GTR home from Toronto getting stuck in traffic. Had a lot of conversations with people. My GTR is stock and one guy goes " hey did you do all that custom bodywork yourself?" then the from some others i get the normal "hey your on the wrong side!". Talked to a guy in a snap on truck for about half an hour. Stuck in taffic is more fun on the right side of the car.

It's funny the kind of people that try racing you. When I was in Edmonton, Jordan and I had just bought frappacinos which we are sipping on and rolled up to a red light next to a grand cherokee, the guy driving it is early forties and has his wife and kids in it with him, looks over, right at me, looks forward, the light goes green and he floors it squealing his tires away from the line, we are just like wtf?!?!

Then yesterday on my way to work, I'm stopped at a red light, there is a dumpy 45 year old woman next to me in a base model v6 Dodge Magnum, the light goes green, I start driving, all of a sudden. I hear her engine screaming next to me and she flies past me foot to the floor up to about 140...... again, wtf?!?!

I think if cops want to catch strret racers they should just drive around in GT-R's and nail every jackass that pulls up next to them at the lights.

see the thing is, most people are like Fast and the Furious so when they they think of the R34 skyline so they see our R32's and say wtf is that some dont know and some do
