( sorry for lengthy reading, more info you have, more chance of helping me maybe )
some of you already heard, but none the less, since i got another rb20 swap into my gtst its been running like crap, still trying to fix the fuel "leak" ( or something ) and just been kind of a pain.
now tonight, on my way home, the car had a HUGE power cut out, like nothing was happening, i was just driving and it like it died but doesnt turn off, and usually when i tap tap on the gas pedal it comes back, but it was soooo bad tonight i was going 80, and i had to pull over because it wasnt coming back, then it turned off, i turn it on, and it turned off again. i was like WTF!!!!
then i turn it on again, rev it up, then get back on my way, rip through all the gears, and everything was fine.
but its been doing this since the swap, just randomly stops. i always explain to people its like my fuel cuts out, but its not that, its like electronic or something.
my winter car had same issue, got worse and worse, ( 1992 subaru legacy ) and i change the coolant temp sensor and was perfect, for a few days, but it ran much better for the next few months then started getting worse as it was before.
so ive been on the hunt for a coolant temp sensor for the 20, finaly found the right one from nissan, just broke and will get paid end of week, but till then i put the one that was in my old motor in this one, (old motor ran flawless till blew up) and its still crap.
anything else i should look for?
sometimes theirs these super super quick stutters, and the rpm needle jumps ex. 2-3 back n forth, like 3 times per second.
anyways please help, i need it running smoothly for drift school lol.
and if this helps, it likes to cut out right when the turbo is getting full boost, so im waiting for the kick, and then just blank for a second and ruins the whole moment, happens fairly often.
