Brakes!!

The gtr i bought failed the out of province inspection because "the brake pads and rotors are too worn." Even though i can lock the brakes up on command...So Im going to use the brake pads off my gtst to make it pass, I heard the rear gtst rotors will fit but the fronts are smaller? Or does anyone in vancouver area have a set a rotors i can buy?!?

Do you know how they worked that out??? Did it hit the wear markers on brakepads (making a noise), or did they brake test car and it failed on the front wheels???? Or was it just a visual inspection of brake pads and rotors???

300ZX, R32 GTS-T have 280mm front rotors. R32 GTR has 296mm front rotors (same diameter as R33 25T front rotors, but I think different thickness).

Rear rotors should be the same on 300ZX, R32 GTR, R32 GTS-T.

ok thanks. Not really sure how they judged it but my brakes arent terrible im suprised it failed, the rotors are a little worn but i've seen A LOT worse.

stock GTR front rotors are 32mm thickness when they were new. How much meat you still have??

Try going to a different shop then if the brakes are fine

rotors dont matter....for those 5mm or below 50% pads will fail safety inspection....new brake pads are typically 12mm
