I'm glad I don't live in Ontario either, it's rediculous what you have to go through for insurance. I'm only paying $55 a month for full coverage.

The fuel mileage varies alot depending on how you drive, I drove from Toronto back to Newfoundland when I got the car and burned between $400 and $500 in gas but I was taking my time not doing anymore than 10 over the speed limit most of the time but if you're driving agressively and on the boost alot it's no trouble to burn through alot of gas, if you're using it as a daily driver depending on how much driving you do you'll probably be putting $20-$40 worth of gas in it every day. Mabey a GTS gets a bit better mileage but I can say that driving a GTR with 91 @ over $1.50/L isn't cheap, but like mentioned above you don't buy a skyline for fuel economy, when you hit the gas, feel the turbos building boost and hear the enging roaring the last thing on your mind is how much gas you're sucking through it lol.

i've never had my r32 gt-r not get me from point a to b.
Also gets around as good MPG as my moms corolla on the highway, but it requires 94 octane.

My current one has been mega reliable, 10% of the time I've owned it (4 years +) been in pieces for near 4 years due to wanting more power (and being convinced by shops that it had to be built to see 500 whp. Have since been been throwing part after part at it to make it run. Still no engine!!! Should have sold it when it never made it home the day I bought it for $15k and had to leave it 5 hours out of town for 3 weeks due to bad foil packs. Had I bought a mustang, it would still be running since all parts can be had locally, they costs fractions of what people want for gtr parts and can make lots of reliable power without a ticking time bombs RodBearing 26 (spinner)

My first gtr (2005-2009) had its minor issues but always ran. Other than a weak clutch.

I have about 400 hours labour into my car about about 60 hours of drive time (4,400km)

I could buy a 2013 gt500 (664hp, 5 years warranty) for less than whst I sunk into my parts car. I have a bad habit of going with the cheaper (yet reknown) "high performance" shops. Then Agsin, has only been 3 western canada shops that let me down

Total paid in labour thus far is around $9000

Might send my stuff down to the USA for the next build, it might be far and expensive to ship ($2000-3500 with customs) but they need the jobs more than Canadian shops do because there's so many competitors there.

          Sorry:... Venting

Mpg? Got about $280-320km per tank in town on a stock car

"Built not bought" sooner or later = "broken not running"
