Coilovers - Which is a good choice?

Theres a set of Buddy club junior spec i seen... dont wanna have it so stiff where i feel everything but want it to be good if i were to track my car..

Whats a good spring rate that i should be looking for. My car will be used approx. 85% street 15% track/drag. ?

so, Im thinking HSD.. The quality looks to be great! have done research and have found nothing but good. id like HR, but cant afford it at this moment. I think i might get the dual tech.. brand new!

for the price it makes sence to have a brand new set vs a used of hks or tein.. with unknown km and condition.. plus these would come with 1 yr warranty..

what do you guys think?

It all comes down to spring rate. Most manufactures have several designs and springs rates. Figure out what the purpose of the cars is and select the appropriate setup to match. #12 spring are brutal on the street but will be the best selection for a mostly track driven car. Check the manufacters FAQ for spring rate guidelines.

The spring rates are, 7Kg/mm front and 5Kg/mm rear spring rates. I can ask for a different set up. If so what would be something I'd want for my driving?

I've got a set of Tein Monoflex on my 33 GTR. I find it to be suitable for the street even on full stiff despite what people say. Its just about perfect with 6-12 clicks from Full Soft on the street and a few clicks from Full Stiff on the racetrack. Highly recommended but buy brand new or LIGHTLY used

Well I found a group buy on the hsd monos! Can get them for $965 shipped brand new with a yr warranty!! Called a few local shops and the price there selling for is around $1300-1400!

So I think I'm gonna go for these!

I would check spring rate via formula's for your car. You'll need access to corner weight's, so someone that makes, rebuilds suspension or sets up racecars should have some (or buy some). Spring rates will vary from car to car due to different configurations. Only time it won't vary is when have a stock car (same model). Most street spec suspension is for a stock car. Some put street suspension with aftermarket setup (wheels, etc) and wonder why it doesn't work and blame suspension.
