if it matters any i have 3" turbo back exhaust and a pod air filter and xto racing clutch, i think it was a stg 2
and my probe gt turbo with 12psi and full exhaust and a cone air also beat it just not as bad, i never got a ride in his car yet so i couldnt tell you how good or bad he drives.

95 was the last year they had 5.0L mustangs... so there is a chance, but something to consider about those mustang. while alot of the skylines coming over are low kms(for there age) mustangs are usually high kms, and have been beaten on hard... so in a comparison between the two the cars are prolly on equal ground... and from the sounds of it his rustang is needing a refresh

Ok so i am hanging out with some buds tonight...and my car is pretty loud i am not gunna lie...so i pull up to a place in Delta, BC near Sunshine elementary...its pretty residential...and everyone car hear me comin in

Anyways after i park and shut my car off some little old granny comes out and starts asking whos car was the loud one...

All joking and such we say we dont know...but then she starts laughing and saying it was us...blah blah blah...anyways so my friends and I end up telling her its my GTR...

So my friend next to me says oh....why dont you take her out for a ride...

Me already embarrassed now has no choice but to take a little old misses out for a quick spin...

So in a good Samaritan mood i let her in she freaks about it being RHD and asks the usual quesions...OMG IS IT FROM BRITAIN?? etc etc

So were in the car...and shes asking how i got it over and such...shes like 80 and shes flirting with me...i feel like i am being molested the whole time while i take her for a spin around the block...

The creepiest line ever...."so you rich or something?" me "no, i just work really hard" "oh cause if you had said yes i would had said i was available and then you could work really hard on me..."

After that i just about slammed on the brakes...and laughed in an extremely scared and frightened sort of way and said well...i have to get going...and let her out

She thanked me....and, petrified, i returned to my friends....who thought it was nice that i did it...but destroyed me after i told them what she said...

So i had to tell it cause it was kinda funny...but who new that a GTR appeals to the older lady crowd....especially the 80 - 90 year olds....god its actually disturbing just thinking about what she said...

I had a big and tall cop schooling my small mexican passenger for 5 minutes and he wouldnt let him interrupt him at all... then in his soft mexican accent he said "but officer, im the passenger"... (cop actually bend down and look inside... WTF? walk around and give me the ticket witout fancy stories this time... LMAO I almost pissed myself and think it was worth the speeding ticket.

I just finished gasing up the car and pulled over to the air to check the tires and was just about finishing up when a middle aged guy pulls up in his 2000ish Nissan Sentra and asks if he can borrow my tire guage to check the pressure.

So I say sure thing, I've got to top up the wiper fluid while I'm here anyways. So the guy starts using the tire guage and you can tell he's not the brightest with it and asks is this reading about right? I take a look and notice he's got stock tires so I explain to him where to find what the sticker telling him what the psi should be at and to account for the heat and such.

Anyways I have no problem helping people out that aren't knowledgable about this stuff since I myself have no clue when it comes to alot of things car related.

So we get the tires sorted out for him and he hands me back my guage and notices my car is RHD and says "Oh is that from England?" I'm thinking to myself, Damn dude you drive a Nissan, I drive a Nissan where do you think it's from? But instead I politely let him know it's from Japan.

He asks some questions about the car and tells me about some Alfa Romeo he had that he traded for a Corvette from the states or some such and I just nod and smile thinking to myself I hope the guy he traded the alfa to checked the tire pressure after he got it haha.

yea i get the "wheres that from great britain?" alot i had a kid at a show ask me how much it cost to get the steering wheel put on the other side. a drunk old man on a 21 speed pointed out that my steering wheel was on the wrong side and that i had better get it checked out before i hurt somebody....sure brother have another one. everybody always says that would F@uck me up how can u drive on that side? or the isnt that thing illeagal? :hit_head: well at least we all own cars that can bring car guys and general morons together to witness a car that they dont know has been handing out 20 years of motorsports ass-whoopings............ rejoice!

I remember when i got mine, i had quite a few reactions. I was stopped on warman turning onto circle and i had some group of kids in some rustbox civic pull up and honk there horn at me, 3 of em were cool, just asking questions, where i got it and such. Then one guy, (there is always one) who was yelling and swearing telling me his dads mustang could kick my ricer @$$. i was like....cool...then i told the other guys that i worked as an imported for minibrutes and if there interested to check the site and email me. light turened green the one dude didn't stop yelling and i took off down the turnpike.

the guy i met everyone knows him he does the same crap in every car we see him in in my old probe i did race him beat him and he flew by me doing a stupid speed wrong side of the road past 2 cars and dont ask me what happened after that.

its not only me it happened to.

anyways tonigh went on a little cruise, buddy in his 180 and one in a silvia and me there were 2 cops folowing us and then a 3rd and pulled us all over, 5 clicks over the limit lol.

but thats not the worst part there were people pasing us doing 60 and they never got stopped.

has anyone ever thought that the cops kinda keep an eye out for japanese cars? id like to say they are prejidous but they end up asking you if you want to race and what it tops out at.

but trying to ticket us for 55klicks in a 50 zone when there are cars passing us is dumb.

and a few kms down the road after we got stopped they pulled a honda accord over with a mufler, all 3 of the cop cars lol.
