    Personally...

I'd grab a rope, and look for the nearest tree....

And I wouldn't be hanging them by their neck either.

    Sorry to hear your story...

Hope all works out in the end... but really... how do they give you back your "faith" in entrusting a shop with your car.... ??

    Cheers.

    J.

Well I use to work at a high end car dealer, that sold semi exotic european cars, and one of the mechanics wrote off a 400hp car going for a bit of fun. So just cause the name is big, and they drive them all day, doesn't mean they won't have fun in your cars. BTW the dealer called the customer gave them a car of the same condition/year/millage, plus $10,000. Customer wasn't even upset.

Also don't blame the police, their job with cars is to recover your goods when they are stolen, since you have them back already and there is very little chance of it happening again this is a civil law issue.

                  Update!

The turbos are blown and clutch is fried.
Looks like he boosted a little too early when she was cold (-15) and fragged the ceramic wheels right off... which means he couldnt have beat on her too bad since it was basically running NA the whole time

Clutch is shot because he had no idea how to drive a twinplate and burnt through it by slipping it too much.

Soo... I get to upgrade to better turbos and a new twinplate clutch for free... upgrade my injectors and remap at my expense... can you say 500hp at the flywheel? hmm.

                      Another update.

Engine is fcuked. Compression check shows that cylinder 3 and 6 are ~50psi and the rest are ~130psi.

Get the shop to buy/pay you a new engine, turbos and clutch... your car will be better than it was ever before... 10K should do it...

Geez this has turned into a really ugly situation....

Are they still paying for all of this? Or did they only agree to new turbos etc? Sucks if you're out any money here because the ratbag decided to joyride your car.
