Do yourself a favour and dont buy anything that is beat up, repairs for imported cars and engines get expensive quickly. Save your $$$ for a model that is in good shape, it will probably save you $$$ in the long run.
If you are looking at a beat up 180sx why dont you get a 240sx instead, granted it isnt SR20 but the KA24 is a tough engine and when stuff breaks on it parts will still be easy to find and affordable.
Im not saying dont buy a Skyline or 180 but do some major research into what it costs to fix things, insurance, etc. before you go too far (the search button is your best friend). There is no point in having the car if it is going to sit on blocks in your driveway while you walk because you can afford to fix it.1994 R32 GT-R V-Spec II

Watching a 400hp at engine RB20DET powered Skyline racecar overtake 2x 4cyl Sierra Cosworths in UK is enough -
Then overtaking a Sierra Cosworth with more hp -
After overtake and broken the lap record -
R32 GTS-T has the same RB20DET engine but is detuned (smaller turbo, smaller sidemount intercooler, short runner exhaust manifold) for road use.RESPONSE MONSTER

With bolt on TD06 turbo kit, FMIC, ECU, etc a stock R32 RB20DET is quite quick on racetrack and fun to drive -
Cars suspension setup needed tweeking in that videoclip (a bit tailhappy).
If you get bored of RB20DET, you can fit a RB25, RB28, widebody kit, rollcage, etc for a tyre shreding monster trackcar like Bigred R32 GTS-T in link below -
R32 GTS in this spec is as quick as a modded S15 with more hp around same racetrack. For example the Dodsons rwd R32 that can run as quick as 59sec, which a lightened 700hp SR20DET powered S15 can achieve around same racetrack -
Both Silvia and R32 chassis can be even when modified for racetrack. But R32 RB26 engine can produce more hp.
RB20DET in racetrim with 450hp or so sounds amazing -
and looking through front window in historic Group-A, Group-C race at Phillip Island -
What the RB20DET engine is known for (amazing sound from engine).RESPONSE MONSTER

When car is cornering at high speeds on racetrack with HICAS, rear wheels can be slightly turning in opposite direction to direction of front wheels of car and rear of car can step out easily. Without HICAS this doesn't happen and can push car more before it breaks traction in the rear.
I removed HICAS on my car for that reason. Made a big difference to handling due to car feels more stable / planted in the rear when exiting roundabouts and on motorway.RESPONSE MONSTER

,,oh and another quick question ive been looking at the style differences in the gtr and the gts-t, and i noticed that the gtr's wing looked better than the gts-t imo. and im jw if i would be able to put the gtr wing on a gts-t?

Removing HICAS works in everyday driving as car is safer. Especially when road is wet.
Without HICAS can make car understeer on 90 degree or so corners (one of the first things I noticed after removing HICAS on my car). HICAS reduces the understeer with stock suspension.
This understeer on 90 degree or so corners is shown in the Nissan R32 catalogue on top left side -
I just resetup suspension on my car to eliminate the understeer (swaybars adjust oversteer, understeer). Car handles similar to having HICAS, but turns in tighter without rear stepping out and steering feels more responsive when turning left or right.
R32GTR front bumper, R32GTR front fenders, R32GTR rear spoiler can be fitted. R32GTR rear fenders can be stitched onto R32 GTS-T and R32GTR sideskirts fitted to make a R32 GTS-T look like a R32GTR. But it's cheaper to buy a R32GTR. Some prefer to remove remove spoiler, as it make R32 GTS-T look better.RESPONSE MONSTER

Tell me if I'm wrong...
My vote is a solid gts-t and dont play with the booster controler if you don't understand the basics of air fuel ratio.03 lancer dead
