  • R32 Headlight Swaps

I saw a thread about someone doing a headlight swap, detailed with pictures.
If someone could help me find this old post it would be greatly appreciated.
Working on getting my 91 GTR road legal in BC

hella easy... ill explain right here for you

step 1: go pick up some 90's honda accordd head lights
    step 2: remove your headlights
step 3: install honda accord head lights
step 4: go for inspection and you should pass, they are DOT approved.

another way (my way)... in order to make my R32 GTR healights legal with inspection (here in QC anyways) ... all we had to do was make it so daytime running lights would work on standard R32 GTR head lights......

SOLUTION: one wire to each headlight spliced in to power the outter most bulb on each one... high beam is nearest the grill... mid beams are middle set/projector lenses and the third outter most turn on as soon as i turn the car on... I.E. daytime running lights.
the power is sourced from any 12V source or relay. super easy,

or go and buy for a few $$ a DRL module from C.tire.

    good luck

Yeah, i have heard 94-95 accord head lights work the best... I am going to be swapping some in in a few days here. After the inspection I will probably replace them with the stock ones. I ordered some "beam deflectors" to make them shine like usdm lights, so I am not blinding everyone. I think they were $10 shipped on ebay. People use them on rhd vehicles on the right hand side of europes roads, its the law to have them or something.
