  • R32 ATTESA acutator oil leak...

I've pretty much nailed down that I've got external oil leak in the ATTESA acutator (R32), but the trick is trying to find out where it is actually leaking from!

FYI, I had a pretty consistent drip from the back of the tranny, and it became very noticeable on the track, and had the really bad side-effect of throwing the oil on the exhaust pipe! Pulling the 4WD fuse eliminated the leak, as well as 4WD!

Has anyone experienced a leak on, or near, their acutator? It seems to be an unlikely place for a leak, as it's just a big lump of metal with a banjo connection and a piston assembly inside of it.

    Ideas?

Could be coming from between the actuator assembly and the tranny. Did you get a look under there?

Did you find the leak and did you fix it? I have the same problem.
