i run 17x9.5 +15 and its pretty flush..had to roll..not pull

wheel offset issue

for all of you keep wondering what offset is good...here 17x9.75 et+25 and im running 25mm spacers all around equals 0 offset on 2.5" drop no rolling fenders and shyte and i did wish i can find a 17x10 0offset wheels or 17x9.5 0 offset to not run stupid spacers

very nice mark, I have a set of 18x9.5 Work CR kais +12 on their way from japan, If needed I will add a 10mm spacer if they arent flush enough. ^^ that looks wicked what size tires are on those wheels of yours?1992 Dark Blue Pearl Skyline GTR - 457 rwhp, 404 tq @ 19 psi , chevron 94.

I really don't know why this is popular, have you ever seen a car running sub 1 min. times at Tsukuba with stretch like that? Not a chance in hell. Unstable, rough as hell, curbage to the max if you screw up (or even parking for crying out loud)..........rock on.

its my car i can run it over a pot hole and its none of ur business...this to show ppl here the idea of having a low offset wheels with a help of spacers...

I had 18x9.5 +25 on the back of my gts. fit really good. Now my car is running 17x9 +12 and they fit too.
This is with just rolled fenders. No widening (pulling) of the fenders was done.
It really really really depends on the look you are going for. I cannot stress this enough.
Tell me what look you are going for. To me. It looks like you are just for a "better than stock" look. It sounds like you don't want to stretch tires, or do any fender modifications. To me a +17 would be ideal. A little camber, a little stretch and a little low. DONE.
But if you don't have multilink suspension and you can't dial in camber. And you want the widest tires possible. Get the +27. Then you can get some nice size rubber on there and be on your way
And to Jon. To each his own. To some its style. No one said anything about doing a 1 minute lap at some track
The reason most people go wide wheels is for the dish. the wider the wheel the more dish you can have.
Yeah i run a 18x9.5 with a 225/40 and a 18x9 with a 215/35. I like my car low and wide and i daily drive it without a problem

I think BurlyR32 had some pics of 17x9 +20 with rolled fenders which is close to the +17 offset you're considering.
For the other size, search for someone with r33 gtr wheels on gtst. r33 gtr wheels are 17x9 +30.
I plan on fitting 18x9.5 +15 once my coilovers show up.

NOT everyone has the same goals with there car and not everyone wants the same thing.
If i was the OP. I would get the +27. Only because you can add spacers to lower the offset. But if you get +17 you can't raise the offset.sigpic
