    HKS EIDS
from looking at this manual do you think this unit does some sort of other voodo to stabilize the idle on decel with a BOV to atm
or does it actually lean out the RICH AFR on decel ??

I'm not so much concerned about the stumbling since it's not so bad on my car,,, it's the AIRCARE element I want to try and solve.

Those must have been the decel settings I saw for PowerFC (years ago).

On stock RB20DET ECU it cuts fuel at 1300rpm and starts injecting at 1000rpm when engine is warm (2x tables). If engine revs above 4000rpm or is below 1000rpm or speed is below 30km/h it doesn't do the fuelcut, etc.

I assume HKS EIDS adjust's these settings via playing with AFM voltage, looking at TPS (activates HKS EIDS when TPS is on idle contact or basically when off throttle) and has those two screws, one for lean, rich (high load zones that are rich, low load zones that are lean on fuel map via adjusting AFM voltage) and the other screw for how long.
