It looks like your missing some hardware for the brakes. There's a clip that goes over the part where the pad is hitting the calliper if I recall correctly

ok so its looking like the pad retainers aren't there. do i need an upper and a lower pad retainer for each pad? in the FSM it only shows upper pad retainers for the front calipers and for the rear there is both upper and lower pad retainers.

Even with the back lash retainers installed I do not think this is your problem. I noticed from vid that there is back lash in drivetrain, wheather from diff or tranny, I do not know. I am doing my brakes and rotors now and yes those clips need to be in place but I do not think that is what is causing your sound, I could be wrong. There will always be some play in drivetrain, I just don't know what is ok. I am going to check my car now, it is on blocks.sigpicComment

I just checked, there is no backlash with parking brake on so you are right, get thos clips installed first and go from there.sigpicComment

the only way i could get them was a full shim/retainer kit from nissan retails for like $55.. guy is selling it to me for $35 which is nice but still a lot for a little ass clip. oh well.
