      If we are talking about GT-R’s RB26DETT here, this is false. Of course it’s not “too thick”! Nismo (even Mines) recommends 15W50 for their GT-Rs 32 - 34. Then 10W60 for their not too modified street GT-Rs. It’s in Nismo’s catalog, you can even look it up.

        We are talking about an unmodified rb25 neo with an auto trans, to be a daily driver. The nissan service recommendation was 5w30.

        For modded engines, could be anything depending on the setup or environment.. seen guys swear by 20w50 royal purple.. and even 15w40 non synthetic rotella
