Getting a key cut

i took that 4 digit code to my local dealership and they were totally lost

i think it was 3 letters and 1 number?

it was on the drivers side tumbler by the way

The p/n is a GTR key....I don't want to be a poser cause I got a GtsT ... Miley has the S symbol on it....wanna keep true ...as gay as that might sound

Go to a different dealer that cuts older style keys

I went to the ERIN MILLS Auto Centre (multiple dealerships). Nissan over there knows what they are doing. The parts guy will look into 2 books. 1 for cutting NA keys, and a black book for cutting JDM vehicles (i know this because I asked, he couldn't find my code in the NA books first).

He would then enter that 4 digit code to a key cutter (looks like a snipper lol). Voila

Update,

Got my key today. Dealer couldn't cut it but I found a retired locksmith that will cut it for $10. The gtr is sweet too lol
