Auction... I'm talking respectable condition, rarely will you find an excellent condition 34 for that price in auction but I guess it's possible...

Many respectable cars go through auction every day. I have seen handfuls of grade 4.5 R32 Skylines and tons of grade 5 R34's.
                    2009 Mercedes C63 AMG. Daily
                    1969 Cooper S. Restored
                    1994 Rover Mini 1460cc, 134whp, 7 port fuel injected w/ITB's, & straight cuts w/ 4.67 gearing

I get good stuff from auctions all the time..

Thats the main point behind an auction..

Someone doesnt want to bother taking the time to sell there own car..

so they just hand it to the auction and hope for the best..

Im more leary of private cars because then yoou have to take someone word about it..

Auction cars are all judged on some sorta skale..

sure its a messed up skale but at least they are all judged on it..

                      :-)

ya, at the price, it'd be the same hype as when the R32 came out since it's not much better

I will wait until 2015 to get mine..

Maybe that time the options on getting a 99 will be much easier..(more quantity made?)

From Wikipedia: "The GT-R reappeared in 1999, with a revised chassis and other updates. The R34 turbos received a ball bearing core. The R34 N1 turbos had a metal exhaust wheel, and ball bearing center section. A 6-speed Getrag gearbox was used. The turbo outlet pipes were changed from cast to formed metal outlets. The intercooler had a temperature probe in the V-spec models."

Sure they may sell for $30k at auction when the time comes, but if you go through an importer I can safetly assume they"ll have there decent markup over there $1k(whatever fee) markup. It's being done now, and it will keep on going.
