Agreed. That cop was extremely out of line. File a complaint immediately. Give that cop the big **** you and show him he can't push people around like he's Mr. Big

            BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

Tell them to pound sand, the seat belts fall under the 15 year rules and as long as they are origional and not damaged in any way (frayed, etc....) they cannot fail you on that. Same goes for the crash standards, airbags and anything else that falls under the federal umbrella.

The basic "out of province" stuff like the marker lights, DOT headlights and mechanical soundness is something they can bitch about.

Really? You come in here to ask that? What a totally irrelevant thing to say.

Holy hell man, that's a terrible story, I'm sorry to hear that Rush. I live in Winnipeg (for now, I'd like to move to BC) and the one car I want is an R33. But this… This almost makes me put the whole thought of buying the car on hold till I actually move out of this forsaken province. Is it really that bad? Is there any thing we can do to solve this? That push test set just sounds like made-up bull crap. You should definitely report that, that was unnecessary abuse.

Says the guy bumping a 2 year old thread. Also accord lights in a certain year will fit a GT-R and will pass a inspection, stock headlights will not; hence his reasonably relevant, however vague, statement.

Hey man. Did you figure out the seatbelts? I just finished them on a GTR that i'm working on. Its actually way easier than i thought. It only cost me $10 and a couple hours. Didn't even have to change the assemblys. If you need help, i'll show you. I live in winnipeg as well.

Really!?! I thought mpi would be more clever than that. I've heard of people trying that...didn't think it would work. Do you know if it passed the inspection? Also, do you know if the rear seatbelts need to be DOT as well? thanks
