Hey tony did you ever get pulled over for having no plates and driving around on temp insurance?? I was always told that temp was only to go to the saftie shop, but that might be wrong since its just a friend who told me.

Temps are TECHNICALLY just to get you to the shop for safeties... But you can still drive with it for the 10 days

I had 3 8 day permits on my r32, when I was in the process of inspection and what not (inspection story is long, the people at the shop were cocksuckers), never got pulled over once, but when going through a drive through a cop pulled up behind me and just looked at my permit in the window, never said anything to me. Then when I bought my gc8 I had 3 8 day permits on there too, never got pulled over either.

In SK our permits don't say what you can and can do with it. Its basically insurance, so you can drive the car and what not if you want. Someone backed into my gc8 with a temp permit on it, sgi didn't say nothing, all went through fine.

lol or i can just text wlad! and temp is kinda weird here...if ur willing to pay u can temp ur car untill they say no more. i had a whole month for mine, i know some people that have done it for 4 years and then got told they couldn't anymore, but the max you can buy at a time in winnipeg is 30 days. While i had mine going, i never got pulled over once or even given a second glance really but thats also cause the season was winding down and so was the level of intensity from VIU

Well, TC has determined that they have no interest in banning RHD's, and essentially said Eff You to CADA (yay TC!)

Hey is Chris, as in big Chris T. (aka jdmskyline from heights)? He's a good friend of my wife's cousin. I should talk to him about skylines. I've been looking at purchasing a 2nd vehicle and been researching GTR's for the last while. Does MPI provide a guideline for what exactly is needed to be done for jdm cars in Manitoba? Was thinking of seeing if I can make an appointment with someone at MPI just to present several ideas I had on headlights/tail light issues to see if they'll pass and provide a letter stating this for legal purposes.

As far as i know, they just want all your lighting to be dot, yess even the tailights, exhaust must have a proper mufler and cat and seatbelts glass and windows all need to be dot. I nabbed some 240 sx seatbelts that say mvss, but i think thats equivilent to dot as every other car i looked at in the parking lot said mvss
