i'm sorry that all of you get these horrible images of americans! haha we're not that terrible

i clearly see i'm bringing back a dead thread, but i just don't get how i keep seeing more and more people over here with skylines and S15's, it pisses me off because i want both (realistically speaking i'll start with one) but everything is so hush hush. if i wanted to buy a skyline shell from one of you guys, i'd pick it up in canada my self and i wouldn't make you guys do anything illegal or deal with border patrol-paper work, but is there a way to bring it back across the border as a "track use only" car but still be able to register it at the 25yr old marker?

No, if it's not 25 years old then there is no way to register it as 25 years old.
      Unless you do it illegally.

no i meant import it as a track use only car, then when it's 25 years old register it for road use?

I think if you want to import it for track use you must provide documentation to prove it, ie racing license, race team etc

I remember reading somewhere that once you import a car for track use only, it can't be used on public roads again.
            I could be wrong though.

You would be correct Neptune. A car must be 25 years old before entering the country.

Lol how was that offensive? I was just affirming what he said. Sorry for offering my knowledge to someone who's in the same shoes I once was....

To clarify, once a car has been given the "track/show only" title, I am fairly certain that it can never be registered for road use in that country. A lot of people wanted to do that with the R34 here, but it just doesn't work.
