    400hp RB20DET powered R32 GTS-T on Tsukuba -

jonsibal.com features Jon Sibal's digital automotive art renderings.

Finally found some information and a incar videoclip (see above link) on this R32 GTS-T and what workshop built it. Runs around 1:00 minute laptimes at Tsukuba racetrack which is quick for a RB20DET. A GTS-R runs 59sec around Tsukuba.

    Link to videoclip -

Built by this workshop in Japan -

But what turbo does this RB20DET have, maybe GTRS or similar, as can't find specs on engine???

When driver doesn't have traffic to contend with, so can stay on the racing line, should be a sub 1 minute car. That one car road block and bad line through some corners that scrubbed speed off probably cost 2 sec laptime.

Also engine is still 100hp or so shy of what the engine can potentially produce hp wise and be reliable, and car can be lighter, so there's room for improvement.

Compare the above R32GTS-T to this 2 litre 4 cylinder Silvia on the same racetrack that runs 58sec -

driving a well tuned S14 Silvia(turbo) at Tsukuba circuit in Japan.

Also Yashio Factory S15 time attack racecar that runs 58.11sec around the same racetrack -

Shows what a similar cars with similar capacity engines can do around that racetrack with good lines through the corners. But I think those Silvia engines have more hp (maybe 50hp+ more).

Actually 120hp more for Yashio Factory S15 with sequential gearbox -

It makes that R32 GTS-T look more impressive with only 400hp and non sequential gearbox.

          Form follows function.

          First sector 25.217 sec
          Second sector 24.893 sec
          Third sector 10.913 sec

Total 61.023 sec or 1.01 laptime.

With in the last 6-8 months. Dont keep the three top monthly mags around for long. Usually just pass them down to customers as a bonus.

                      Thanks Feastauto for the help.

I can find this post, where it looks like they fit a R33 turbo to the YMS HCR32 democar (including dynochart) -

But for 402hp at engine, must be something bigger turbo wise.

I can see why YMS HCR32 is popular, winning GT-3 class in BP Super Attack more than once.

                      BP Super Attack 2006 round 7 -

                      BP Super Attack 2007 round 6 -

                      Full list -

Lapping faster than FD3S, S14, S15, etc. Very impressive.

YMS is great. There Eda246 shop is quite close to my office. Unfortunately due to the bad economy they have downsized considerably. Gouda shop for instance is one of there last tuning related car depot's. Believe this is the only YMS shop in all of Japan that offers CPU tuning service with dyna packs in house.

They have several demo cars aswell. A track prepped S15 Spec R, Yellow Levin as seen in your link sometimes, Z33 Fairlady audio car. CBA-R35 GT-R audio car.

That's what I've been trying to find (specifications).

From external photo's, looks like it has ProjectMu brake rotors (green coloured rotors), ProjectMu pads. Definitely running on wide semislicks due to no wheelspin.
