Nissan Silvia S15... In Quebec?

Not that it means much, since I know this car is from Osaka, but look at this...

They have for sale an R32 GT-R with a 2JZ-GTE. It's on their lot in this picture... just chillin. This picture was obviously taken in Canada...

Now look behind the car... is that a blue S15 Silvia I see? Anyone have any info on this car??

Sure looks like it. But isn't Osaka known for bringing in shady cars that are either of poor quality or aren't legal? (Just what I've heard, don't really know much about them)

And WTF is with the back of the R32, is that some wild diffuser or rear bumper or something?

if anyone remembers Japanses Imports , i know a bunch of the toronto members got thier cars from there, there was a shop down the road with a gunmetal s15 curious , they tend to pop up here and there but u never hear of any one actually owning one or even racing them

Actually there are apartly a few s15s in quebec, all not legal.
theres a thread about this same thing on SON240sx.. apparently this s15, and others are vin swaped with 240s
but there is a s15 legal in ontario.. i use the word "legal" loosely.. that ones not even canadian registered, pretty sure the one in ontario is georgia registered/plated

There's 2 S15 in Quebec .. the blue one in the picture, and a silver one. Blue one was imported by a shady importer in quebec .. plated and everything. The silver one is a track car only.

Not the silver one I saw on Decarie recently,it was in pristine condition,looked brand new.

i know the blue S15 belongs to one of the guys who runs the shop... ive seen it before. the beautiful silver S15 spends most of its time in the shop at autoworx and almasi tunning.. the owner is always getting it updated... its a VERY nice car and mostly used for track.

also ive seen and sat in and revved the motor on that green car, i believe its actually a GTS-T thats been swapped in...

and to answer the question as to how they bring them in to canada... they "know" somebody at the import office.. and they just simply say its an S14 with a S15 body kit... interior, and motor...LOL... they don't switch the vins, ive seen the S15 vin plate and its all intact. the border guys don't even check up on which vin code means what year.

I went to osaka about a year ago to check their car jsut for fun... and then i entered another room and there was this beautiful Blue S15 standing there in the garage..... and some guys dealing with american cash...

I just GTFO of there:P

It's kind of wierd...

But this is a very nice car!
