Yea I haven't driven mine in weeks and I already want the winter to end...

And it's hardly started. 90% of people on here still have their cars on the road.

Why don't you? You live in Vancouver.... it's hardly "winter" here.

It's still raining, sure a bit windy but there hasn't been any snow or salt yet. Regardless, if it's a nice day in the smack dab middle of winter, you can garuntee I'll be out in my car.

This video is just for fun cuz I was bored. Just showing a stock gtr with a strong eengine that's all. I didn't say it's anything special.

I feel bad for your car bro. 10k rpm, I hope you're just embellishing to sound cool on the internet little kid.

^^^ I thought you hadn't read the thread but realized you quoted the exact post I am about to refer to.... Seriously? When he hit 10k (by accident) his engine went kaboom, and he replaced it with a new one/rebuilt it.

            Let me help you:
"I [had] that happen to the engine I pulled out. It had no rev limiter. 10 000 rpm later.. It started knocking hahaha. Won't make that mistake again."

A little clearer now? Seriously some guys do stupider **** with their cars then hit 10k. What about everyone here pushing 16psi off a stock turbo? There's people here with boost controllers still running the SMIC I'm sure. How about those few who put money into mods before they do their timing belt... and they're at 120k? (My car's previous owner modded the car, and drifted it without replacing the stock timing stuff, and it had 120k). Go tell them they're starving for internet attention too.

Anyways I'm not trying to come across as a d*ck. My apologies if that is the case. It just bugs me when people think they deserve to chime in on what someone else does with their personal property. He could light it on fire for all I care (although I would think it's a waste nonetheless).

Aaron, Dan, you guys cursed it. They're salting the roads as we speak (drove by a few salt trucks on the way home from work).

I took my car off the road for a combination of reasons which included the fact that my rad pooched, bumper is so low it would be another snowplow on the roads, and my tires were bald as all hell.

Oh and I don't have the stock rims, just the 17" Blitz Type 01.

Now I'll save my money, buy new tires, drop in an aluminum rad, fix a few things, and have her looking sharp as hell come March when it comes out.

Who gives a **** if he hit his rev limiter, I do it all the time - it's there for a reason.

Now I'm not saying it won't cause damage if done repetitively, but honestly I couldn't care less.

If my engine doesn't blow up from me bouncing it off the rev limiter shifting first to second, then it will probably spin a bearing, or maybe the block will crack.

Just have fun with your cars and don't worry about it blowing up, because it's probably going to one way or another, unless you drive it like a turd.

OP thanks for the vids - it's interesting to see the comparison between 2WD and 4WD.

Oh... Would that make me cool if I was lying? No I'm not trying to sound cool. It happened. I don't know why that classifyies me as a little kid though. Hahahahaha.

Yeah I fought the comparison would be a good idea. I'll try to do on with less wheel spin in 2wd next time..

wow all these shenanigans are making this sound as bad as driftwest.ca is. do we really have to act like that?

by the way I can vouch for the 10,000rpm rev and the changing of the engine. I helped him put the new one in.
