Thanks guys, but its not foam its alcantara! I cut off the loose part of the rubber skin and peeled the vinyl handle overlay off. I replaced the latter with an alcantara item I imported from Japan through GTRgarage. Details are going to be in the build thread when season's over.

This is my GTR, all taken in BC. Around Radium, Banff, and on the way to Radium. Friend drove and I shot all these pics with my Canon 5Dmk2!
